Polytechnic Courses—a Shortcut to the Blossoming Technical Career

A phrase, “incompetent for technical job” often is heard in the aisles of human resource departments across the nation. The reason for the ubiquitous use of the phrase is the lack of the vocational courses. In our country, the graduate technical courses emphasize more on the theoretical knowledge, and practical and hands-on experiences are always the second priority. This remains true in all colleges, be it government or private college.

However, there is a course—polytechnic, a diploma course in technology—that many of us neglect. One can pursue the diploma after the high school, and it is designed specifically to endow technical vocational training. Whether one gets a diploma from a polytechnic college in Bhopal or in Bangalore, one tends to be more trained and experienced in the technical industry.

Diploma holders can find a job in automobile industry, electrical organisations, defense Industry, railways, shipping and aviation industry, along with the technology companies.

Be it a polytechnic collegein MP or in any other state, all offer a multitude of diploma courses:
  •    Diploma in computer science
  •    Diploma in electrical engineering
  •     Diploma in civil engineering
  •   Diploma in mechanical engineering
  •      Diploma in electronics and communication
As diploma holders more trained and competent at a job, companies nowadays are considering polytechnic graduates over B Tech for junior engineering positions. The same is true for PSUs as well; graduates with polytechnic level education have more chances of getting into the public sector companies. Therefore, if you want to start your career earlier and gain work experience, it is recommended to enroll in polytechnic college in MP or the states that you belong too.
